Stanton Drew - second largest stone circle in Britain. In 1997 geophysics revealed nine concentric rings of post holes radiating out from the centre of the main circle. It caused a sensation at the time, and English Heritage, under pressure from the press, rushed out a painted interpretation which was actually someone's idea of how Durrington Walls South Circle might have looked. Which makes this (as far as I know) the only reconstruction of the actual monument .
