ARCHAEOLOGY: Broken pottery, glass, tobacco pipes and other items are frequent finds in towns and villages around England. By studying the shapes and patterns we can build up a picture of general household items used in previous Centuries as well as sometimes tracing the origin of manufacture. This information can be useful to archaeologists. This Video presentation covers a small group of items found near the City of Exeter in Devon, England.
